Steve Rochette

STEVE ROCHETTEBeing a supervisor with Villeneuve Construction for over 23 years for municipal contracts and site work throughout the North, Steve Rochette started as an operator and labourer which provided him with great hands-on skills to train and supervise workers in various aspects of the trade.  His experience ranges from operating heavy equipment, truck driving, and supervising road construction and site work.  He’s a strong leader with technical knowledge for reading specifications and plans, communicating with project managers to solve problems and to carry out the work as per the contract documents.

Steve is a proud father of two daughters with whom he adores spending time and doing activities. During his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling. Steve also takes a particular interest in travelling to various destinations.


Charles Harris

CHARLES HARRISBeing a Project Manager/Estimator with Villeneuve Construction for over 20 years for multi-million dollars MTO contracts, municipal contracts and structures throughout the North, Charles’ experience ranges from estimating, design, drafting, supervising, surveying and managing projects.  Charles is a strong leader and has technical aptitude for solving problems while communicating effectively with the owner and designers.

Originated from London, Ontario where he was raised and completed his studies in civil engineering, he moved to Hearst in 1995 and started working for Villeneuve Construction in 1996. He is a proud husband, father of three and grand-father of one.  As an enthused outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

Martine Beaulieu-Mayer

MARTINE BEAULIEU-MAYERMartine Beaulieu-Mayer is a Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety Professional who assists our company by implementing evolving creative solutions to achieve the highest level of performance in our company’ overall strategy for talent retention, loss prevention and overall objectives. She is a highly resourceful individual with a finely tuned sense of initiative and organization, coupled with a methodical approach to achieve results.  She repeatedly demonstrates success as both an individual and a team member.

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters at their home away from home, aka their cabin. Her motto: live, laugh, fish & hunt.

Jason Morin

JASON MORINJason has held different positions over the last 16 years, starting as a labourer and working his way up to be one of the top man in the piping crew, as a float driver and a loader operator.  Positive and confident, he performs meticulous work and prioritizes safety in all his daily operations. The greatest challenges he faces at work are to operate in constant traffic and extreme weather conditions as well as working outside of town, away from his family during the summer, when construction is at its peak.

When he’s not at work, you can find him spending time with his family, travelling or outdoors, riding his ATV or moose hunting. He’s a loving husband and father to a beautiful 2 ½ year old son and is expecting a daughter in May.  ‘’What I love most about working at Villeneuve Construction is the fact that we’re treated as family.”


Sasha Lamontagne

SASHA LAMONTAGNEAs the Quality Control Supervisor for the Aggregate and Concrete divisions, Sasha Lamontagne’s hard work and determination promise a long, fulfilling career at Villeneuve Construction.  Sasha holds a diploma in Civil and Mining Engineering Technology and is a certified technician with OACETT. Her career at Villeneuve started in 2011 by working various pits and quarries as a Laboratory Technician and has since progressed to QC Supervisor. You will find her in the field testing, inspecting or problem solving to ensure the highest quality of work.  “With constant changes in the construction industry, the job definitely keeps me on my toes but it’s the challenges that keep me motivated.”

Free time during the summer construction season is limited, but Sasha finds the time to go hide away on her lakefront property with her husband, two boys and friends building memories.  She enjoys yearly getaways in the south with her husband, working on her property, fishing and relaxing evening fires.
