Key Responsibilities:

 

  • courteously responds to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries or forward to appropriate person;
  • provide general information to clients and the public;
  • photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing;
  • sort, process and verify applications, reports, forms and other documents;
  • process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically;
  • service office equipment and arrange for servicing in the case of major repairs;
  • assist with department administrative needs;
  • maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions;
  • other duties as may be assigned within the reasonable scope of work of the position

Skills/Requirements:

 

  • Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or related field preferred
  • previous experience in similar role;
  • strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • attention to details;
  • proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office;
  • great interpersonal skills;
  • bilingual (both English and French) mandatory;
